what came first, the music or the misery?
I almost had my own apartment. I got ahold of my old landlord and she had an apartment all ready for me and I have the money but then she informs me that my ex lives out there too. damn it! Teresa, the landlord, is very butch and everyone thinks she's a man and she said she'd talk to him if I was worried about it, but I don't want that. I don't want to run into him at all. So I'm not getting the apartment.
The way I see it is either of two things will happen: one, he or his new girlfriend (yes, girlfiend, not boyfriend) will think I'm moving out there to spy on him and/or just be near him. He'll be all braggy and arrogant about it and his girlfriend might try to beat me with a baseball bat some night I'm walking to my car...or two, he'll think we can be buddies again. He was always saying, "Hey if we ever get divorced lets be friends still, lets be roommates, I need you around" and all that uncomfortable bullshit. It's like saying, "hey, lets live together and you pay half the bills and take care of me and take me to work and I'll try to have sex with you when no one better is around." that is not happening! I don't want to hear a knock on my door and see him out the peephole (I wouldn't answer!). Honestly, I think the latter is more likely to happen. Especially since he doesn't have a car and has to walk to work and it's about to be summer, which is like 100 degrees all the time here. haha
I'm going to save my money up for the rest of the summer and then look around some more. I really want to live on my own.
I have aquired a large ammount of cds lately. I need to stop that. Just this month I've gotten like seven of them. Jesus and Mary Chain, Concrete Blonde, DCFC, Poe, Mitch Hedburg, RHPS audience particpation cd, and the Cure one Travis got me for my birthday. I need some good headphones. I lost the handsfree headset/earbuds for my SlVR and have been using some seriously crappy ones.
sorry this post is bitchy and boring. I'm waiting for Travis to finish working on his car so we can go do something.
